I have learned so much about design through the world of blogging. I am not a designer and I am most definitely not an artist. I am simply a regular old girl with an appreciation for all the beautiful things in this world (and clearly in good company), and a desire to make my own home as beautiful as possible, because, well, that is where I hang my hat. And my heart. And love on my family. And live my day to day moments that are slowly weaving together memories and a history unique to me and mine.
Along my blogging way, I met (figuratively) Ms. Seleta of Simply Seleta, and I can say that you would be extremely hard-pressed to find anyone with better taste and a more genuine spirit than Seleta. She is raising four *stunning* “offspring” and she still takes the time to respond to my comments on her blog! That’s inspiring to me! Through Seleta’s blog I was introduced to the design wonders of Windsor Smith, the mastermind behind this “be still my heart” beach house.
Thank you Seleta, and thank you Windsor Smith, for teaching me the artistry of fine interior design, one inspiring photo at a time.
I remain your ever devoted student of all things beautiful,
What a heartwarming [and pretty] post, Erin! Thanks so much for the kind words. I’m glad you love this beach pad, it’s a huge inspiration for me as well. Windsor Smith is AMAZING!!!
Happy Friday to you, friend!
Oh my, lovely, inspiring pictures!
Thank you for sharing!
What a beautiful home.
So funny! I found you through Seleta’s blog and love your blog as well. I am always inspired by both of your blogs. Keep up the good work. Great minds think alike! 🙂
So hard not to covet EVERY time I come to your blog!!! My house just seems blah and yucky after I log off from here. 😉
I LOVED the pictures of the boys and you!
Love,
Steph
