Tracey’s Vintage Foursquare

It has been far too long since I last featured one of my friends’ houses!  If you missed previous installments of my “Friends with Style” entries, you can click to check out:

Today, meet my dear friend Tracey and her sweet baby Cole.
Tracey, her handsome hubby, and their sweet baby Cole make their home in a classic American Foursquare that is full of vintage charm.
I first met Tracey when she contacted me about blog advertising- she hand embroiders baby clothes (check out the Tiny Sprouts button in my list of Sponsors).  Tracey and I exchanged emails and realized we were both in the same city(!!), both pregnant with boys(!!!), and both interested in nearly all of the same things. We emailed back and forth for a bit and then finally met in person when Wynn was one month old and I was brave enough to take him to starbucks.  Now we have become somewhat inseparable friends.  It is truly incredible the way that Lord weaves the right people into our lives at the perfect time.
Here is Tracey’s awesome house.  Even cooler-this is a rental house!
With beautiful arched doorways and neutral paint colors.

. . . and plenty of windows that allow natural light to flood the rooms

Tracey’s love of hand embroidery is evidenced all over the house.  Most of these are antique finds.

I love number six on this list below.

Cole’s nursery is full of antiques.

Antique highchair that Tracey had recovered with darling polka dot oil cloth.

And of course my favorite kind of kitchen:) white cabinets and crystal door knobs.
