In follow-up to all of the beautiful childrens’ rooms, I have to share my new favorite C.D., SING OVER ME: Worship Songs and Lullabyes, which is honestly as great for grown-ups as it is for children because it is not lullabyes of the nursery rhyme variety, just beautiful soothing music that I actually listen to while working at the office . . . even though I originally bought it for my baby hope chest (I have more baby clothes already than Babies R Us, and no, I am not pregnant). My favorite song is “Whole World in His Hands” by Christy Nockels, and it is not the version you remember from vacation bible school. 🙂

Thanks for the tip on the CD. It is lovely and inspired me to purchase an Ipod and load it with this and other lullabies and give it to my sister as a baby shower present.
