At home in the new old house:

where my kitchen has never been cleaner because I have the most amazing mother who has been loving on us intensely this past week.

where a sleepy baby naps in the sunshine

And takes in this new life in God’s beautiful world.

Where Grandpa bonds with his new fishin‘ buddy

Where there are a million and one kisses

and where a new mommy falls deeper in love everyday with the wonder that is her baby Wynn.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33

P.S. Wynn’s jaundice is MUCH better and we no longer have to keep him on the blanket or go in for follow-up blood draws-just plenty of sunshine and breast milk. My birth story is coming any day now and yes, photos of the nursery soon as well! πŸ™‚

Sunshine is a good thing – nursing is so worth it but so tough sometimes! & kitchens cleaned all sparkly by mamas are heaven sent.

Oh, and also I do love that green necklace you’re wearing in the one picture. Where did you get it, if you don’t mind my asking. πŸ™‚

  12. Thank you to everyone for all the loving comments!

The green necklace I have on in the last picture is from Jcrew, although I bought it off ebay! πŸ™‚

  13. What a precious gift from God. Congratulations to you and your husband. Wynn will be lucky to have such wonderful parents.

On an aside I notice that your fridge door opens the wrong way. It is possible to switch that on most fridges. It probably would be more convenient for you. We build kitchen cabinets so I always have an interest in kitchens. My new kitchen is very similar except with “reed” glass on the top cabinets. I love white in a kitchen!

  14. The pics are so cute! We have the same boppy swing…love the pattern..and Madeline loved the exact same passies when she was a newborn! I can’t wait to see the nursery!!!
