Only the second official day of summer and the weather has already been hot, hot, hot.  We are settled back into our beach cottage in Michigan.  Did I mention that the cottage does not have air conditioning?  And that I am 7 months pregnant? ;)

This little charmer doesn’t seem to mind the heat one bit.   Isn’t he getting so big?  2 years and 3 months and soon to be the big brother.  I can hardly believe it.

I am working on a post of beach cottage updates . . . the sticky kitchen floor has been fixed and we have a gorgeous new beaded board living room ceiling.  Looking forward to sharing pictures in the next few days!

Hope that everyone is surviving the wide-spread heatwave.   God’s seasons are nothing if not fascinating!

Glad you are back to your cottage! Sorry about the heat and the lack of A/C. Can’t quite imagine that, especially whilst incubating a sweet little man! Looking forward to seeing your progress- on the cottage and the baby!

Is this doggie new to your family or did I miss something?! Cute pictures. Only two months to go and you can bask in the love of your new baby and the promise of fall just around the corner!

What a little cutie! My daughter is 2 years 8 months old, and this is by far my favorite age. She loves to have conversations with me and I absolutely love answering all her questions and watching her learn. I can’t wait to see more pictures of your beach cottage!
