  1. Beautiful!

The pictures with you, and with Daddy are precious. They make me remember how sweet the first weeks are with sweet newborn babies.

  2. I’m loving these pictures, Erin. It’s so sweet to see a father with his children. I enjoyed seeing the leaves turn color since I don’t get to see this being from FL. I was just in Toronto visiting family a few weeks ago but the leaves hadn’t turned yet. What a gorgeous chandelier for the kitchen too!! 🙂

    • Thanks, Karla! It is such a gorgeous time of year right now, we are outside as much as we can be and the colors just feel like a fairyland!

Thanks for the compliment on the chandelier, I’m loving it!!

  3. Sometimes a Mom can feel as though she is doing so little for the Lord as she cares for her home and her family. I want you to know, Erin, that your service to the Lord in this present time is well-pleasing to Him. You are loved and appreciated, not only by Him, but also by us who no longer have the privilege of raising children. We look in the window and share in the joy of Mothering once more. Thank you!

  4. Erin, I am new to your blog. And I wanted to follow Joy’s comment by saying that being a mom I too find it difficult to serve the Lord in other ways. But I do feel that taking care of my husband, three small children and home that I am serving the Lord. I have ALWAYS felt this is where I am supposed to be and how I am supposed to serve Him in this season of my life. I think you are serving Him through your beautiful blog by showing others your faith. Congratulations to you and your family on your new addition.
Also, I think you cottage is lovely!

    • Thank you, Rita! I agree with you that serving my husband and children is a service to the Lord. It encourages me every day and even on the hard days I don’t doubt that I am where I am supposed to be, doing what I am supposed to be doing. What a comfort!

  5. Oh, thank you for posting this. We just moved to Georgia, from Pennsylvania earlier this year and its sinking in on me how much I miss the fall foliage of the North. The part of Georgia I am in has very little color change for the fall.

I loved getting a chance to see the leaves turn in your beautiful pictures up there! ^^^ Thank you!

    Shirley
